Some of you - Chris - will remember that in '07 I really, really, really wanted a Biennale press bag. It's a great bag and I did, in the end, get one.
I have to tell you that this year's press bag is lame. L-A-M-E. But, it is "the year of the bag" at the Biennale and everyone was giving out bags during the press previews. I collected ten other bags - MUCH better bags - from individual pavilions and exhibits.
I suppose I need to take some pictures of/with the bags. I will.

There are large glass sculptures displayed in various locations around the island. This is a detail from one that can best be described as a giant bale of glass hay. Fantastic!

So that's the Biennale theme this year - Making Worlds. There is not much sign of it. This poster doesn't quite cut it.

This is the new Pinault venue as described in the T magazine piece - it's close to the apt., can't wait to see it. For those who were here two years ago, notice the scaffolding is off Salute.
