Look on the right hand side of the photo for the portable air conditioner hanging out the window resting tight against the second floor of the building with the "pinkish" facade (it's not a great angle, I know). That's our living room. I've come "home" to this palazzetto walking up this street at least two or three - usually more times - a day, every day, for the last four+ weeks. Not a bad place to call "home"...temporarily. The packing has begun in earnest. We are deciding where to have our last few Venetian meals, how to spend our last full day tomorrow and then...we're on our way back to our home Islands. I haven't yet given up on posting some of the things I didn't get to but it's getting less likely as the hours pass. Mi dispiace, mi amici. Ciao...for now.
