As if one needed an excuse to go to Harry's Bar for a bellini, Marcia's birthday was May 16 and I hadn't been able to celebrate it with her on Maui. So although it took us nine days to get there (ugh!), we finally made it to Harry's on the way home from the Biennale yesterday for the First Official Birthday Bellini. For all of you who've been there and are curious? The price has gone D.O.W.N. - yes, it has!
How much is it now? I had a Bellini at Harry's in 1992 and it was L16,000. That was so long ago that they have new money! They look as beautiful as you two in the photo. Thanks for making me thirsty.
