Oh. Yo. Ko.

So it's early in the morning. I've had only one cafe normale. I STILL have all the Thursday and Friday Biennale posting to do - words and photos - and I'm back to the Giardini today. You still don't know what we had for dinner last night. But I had to at least let you know about the celeb sighting.

On the way back from last night's delicious dinner at a lovely little place we happened upon in the S. Marco sestiere called Cafe Rosa Rossa, we passed Acqua Pazza where we ALMOST had dinner last night 'cause we loved it the first time. And there was Yoko Ono, at the head of a long outside table - son Sean, too - with many obviously special and invited guests. She is here to receive a Golden Lion award for lifetime achievement and to do a "performance." I am able to attend both with my press credentials. I will be skipping both. Too much (what?)...oh, I don't know, just too much.

(Dinner - great big salad with lots of veggies and tuna, I had tagliatelle with asparagus, shrimp and cream sauce, Marcia had mezzelune - half-moon-shaped ravioli - filled with eggplant in red sauce with raisins, assorted cheeses with nuts and balsamic syrup, vino... - now you know.)
