So, these are the coffee pots in our apartment - except for this photo they wanted to be in the garden. Isn't Italian design the best?! I'm a little embarrassed to admit I had no idea how to make coffee in this kind of pot which, of course, is all they use here. Although they look different, they're exactly the same in terms of how they work; the one on the left makes six cups and the one on the right makes three. The day we arrived, I asked the Contessa to demonstrate for me. They are unbelievably easy to use and they make the best coffee. I think I will have to buy one to bring home.
