Campo of Our Lady of Perpetually Hip Restaurants

Just back from dinner way up near S. Stae in Santa Croce. The neighborhood around Campo San Giacomo dell' Orio (aka Campo of our Lady of Perpetually Hip Restaurants) has a bunch of very hip restaurants, thus, the aka. We ate at La Zucca. Delizioso. Above is my primi piatta - Pumpkin Flan - and Wanda's primi piatta - Apricots with Goat Cheese. I had spicy little meatballs with couscous; Wanda had rabbit with R-I-C-E (yay!) and we had sauteed broccoli. I can't remember when broccoli tasted so good. After more than a month, it was really good to enjoy some different flavors. Don't get me wrong. The food here is unreal. But variety is the spice of life, right?

Oh, the dog. Could a dog that looks like that hang anywhere other than the Campo of Our Lady of Perpetually Hip Restaurants?
